


Rudy M. Thomas, President
Rudy Thomas has been in the investment management business for nearly 35
years. During that time he has served as President and /or Chief Investment
Officer of three multi-billion dollar investment companies associated with banking
institutions. In his position as Chief Investment Officer for BancOklahoma, Rudy
participated in a joint venture with American Airlines and was instrumental in the
creation of a mutual fund complex.
While serving as principal in an economic research firm founded by Dr. Art Laffer,
(considered the “father” of supply-side economics and the originator of the Laffer
Curve used to lower tax rates during the Reagan Presidency), Rudy participated in
numerous research projects involving tax rate adjustments and the resulting
economic behavior.
Rudy received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Hastings College in
Nebraska. He serves on the Hastings College Board and Investment Committee.
Rudy also serves on the Board for The Ronald McDonald House and is Chairman
of their Investment Committee.
Dr. Bruce A. Gulliver, Executive Vice President, CFA
Dr. Bruce Gulliver has more than 20 years of experience in the financial research
and management business and founded Jefferson Research and Management in
1989. Jefferson provided research to more than 60 asset management clients,
including major mutual funds and hedge funds. Bruce is a recognized expert in
equity research and financial statement analysis and was an invited speaker at the
2003 AIMR annual meeting. He has worked as an energy industry analyst at the
U.S. Department of Energy, The National Coal Association, Atlantic Richfield and
Pacificorp. He was also an adjunct finance instructor at California Polytechnic
University (Pomona) and American University.
Bruce is a Nebraska native and was awarded his Bachelor’s degree, magna cum
laude, from Hastings College in business and economics. He earned his Ph.D. in
business Economics and MBE from Claremont Graduate School in California.
Jaime M. Luebbe, Senior Vice President
Jaime Luebbe is a portfolio manager for Fairway Asset Management. She began
her career in finance as a banker in California in 1999. In 2001, she returned to
Omaha where she became a financial consultant with a large regional bank. She
also assisted in the development of the Investment Management Division for this
same bank. In this position, Jaime assisted the Chief Investment Officer in
overseeing all investment activity within the bank investment portfolio, trust
company and agency investment accounts. This included research, trading,
administration, and other back office responsibilities.
Jaime is a graduate of Peru State College and currently holds a Series 7 and 66,
as well as a Nebraska Life and Health Insurance License.
